Observe what He does!

 John 10:31-42

It was against the law to claim to be the Messiah if you're not and the Jewish leaders knew it!  So this passage emphasized that Jesus claimed to be the Messiah because they wanted to stone Him.  In His defense He pointed out that if He was not the Messiah how could He heal the sick and raise the dead!  We must observe what He does to determine the truth.

Lord Jesus, we're thinking of folks who haven't accepted You as Messiah yet.  Would You help them to observe what You do and open their eyes to see the truth.  In Your mighty name. Amen

  John 11:8-16 These verses challenge us on death.  Should Jesus go to Lazarus?  After all, the disciples think Jesus life is at stake if He goes. Thru Jesus we receive grace

  John 1:16-18 The law came through Moses but grace and truth came through Jesus.  If we're trying to be perfect we have to realize that it's best to be honestly imperfect and this is what Jesus allows.  He didn't come to abolish the law...we still have a goal; but He did come to help us live up to the law.  The law is summed up as "love the Lord Your God with all of your heart soul and mind and love your neighbour as yourself" but here are a few practical tips in how to do this Deut 5:7-21 7  “You shall have no other gods before [ b ]  me. 8  “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.   9  You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the  Lord  your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,   10  but showing love to a thousand gen...
