Explaining difficult things; like the Trinity and life after death

 John 14:4-11

Jesus is trying to explain to His disciples some difficult topics.  Death for instance.  He says they know where He is going but Thomas is confused. Then Jesus says more confusing things; He says He and the Father are one.  It's like H2O...water, steam and ice.  He says to Philip if He doesn't understand, look at His works.  Jesus and the Father are one.

Lord Jesus, there are times, in our humanness, that we don't understand You yet You love us anyway.  Continue to teach us.  Show us how we can be affective in Your Kingdom.  In Your mighty name.  Amen
